I love white daffodils, and the yellow centers on these really help bring home the visual. Will definitely use the double stab stitch again in the future. Next time maybe I'll be bold enough to pull them just a *little* bit tighter, as the last 2 (shorter ones) look better than the first three.
Status: Started / Ongoing - Because of the strange weather, I started doing Turbo Jam / Turbo Fire with Karen a week or so prior to the start of my vacation. Yesterday, because the weather was more agreeable / cooler, I started running (again!) as a form of interval training.
So far, so good, though I realized that a year ago I was running regularly with about 8 pounds less. No wonder my legs started complaining on kilometer 3 of my run last night.

I chose to re-enact a scene from Harry Potter. I did this by making a broom from twigs and a stick, putting on a wig and glasses and then jumping on my trampoline until I was pleased with the photo.

ARTA, Djibouti (August 13, 2012) - Task Force Raptor Soldiers participate in the third Spur Ride held in the Horn of Africa. The spur ride is a cavalry tradition in which a trooper must pass a series of tests that evaluate physical, leadership, technical and tactical proficiency in a high stress environment in order to earn his spurs and become a member of the Order of the Spur.
