Still performing the task it was designed for, and doing it quite well, Class 143 Pacer unit 143 618 arrives at Barnstaple Station with a service from Exmouth.
Barnstaple station now has a basic layout, with the single line from Eggesford just ending at a single platform.
This image was all fun. While taking this photo of my sisters dog I was not thinking of anything other than how cute his paws are. I wanted to get a closer look and somehow managed to get him to stay still for 2 seconds. Overall I had fun with this photo.

All of these 1/72 scale boats are remote controlled and most of them are current and past Navy Ships fro the Royal Australian Navy. The Club is called Task Force 72 and they had a Excellent display. 6/10/13

In this task, the participants had to drive over various terrains under instruction in a Land Rover Defender. The terrain simulated river crossings, steep inclines and declines and rough terrain.
Driving a short course that required finesse and accuracy, the participants attempted to manoeuvre the car through a sequence of gates.

Virginia National Guard Soldiers assigned to the Fort Belvoir-based 29th Infantry Division reunite with family and friends in Virginia July 14, 2017, after serving on federal active duty since September 2016 in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. While overseas, the Soldiers formed Task Force 29 and conducted joint training and engagements with personnel from the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army as well as other allied countries to promote regional stability. Soldiers from the Fredericksburg-based 116th Brigade Special Troops Battalion, 116th Brigade Combat Team take part in the "Warrior Stakes" training event Sept. 20 at Fort Pickett during the unit's two-week annual training period. The training event kicked off with Soldiers organized into three-person teams navigating obstacles on the Fort Pickett Air Assault Obstacle Course, followed by stations where they were evaluated on a number of different Army Warrior Tasks. The stations included putting a radio into operation, chemical and biological agent protection, M249 machine gun assembly and disassembly, basic map skills and reacting to enemy contact.
