The Stormtroopers finally accepted that their initial attempts at cloning themselves were not going to work out, so they decided to use one of the 'clones' for target practice.
As everyone knows, Stormtroopers are not renowned for being being great at hitting thier targets!

This was my first time shooting . . . anything! I got to use four guns today. This was the second gun I shot. I really liked it but I liked the handgun best! Well actually, I liked the .22 more than anything cuz it was just so easy!

Wouldn't you love to work for the USPS and have Hazard on your route? Nevermind the dogs...There were a lot of bullet holes in Hazard. I wish I had gotten a photo of the stop sign, too.

The remains of a WW2 Churchill tank at a location known as Kithurst Hill, nearby to the South Downs Way. The nearest villages/towns would be Storrington and Findon.
At the end of WW2, this particular tank had apparently developed a mechanical problem and - since it had already been superseded by later models - it was considered 'uneconomical to repair' and was handed over for target practice.
Once it had fulfilled this role (and it fulfilled it well, because the far side of the shell is literally peppered with holes!), it was somehow rolled to a nearby bomb crater and buried in it.
In more recent times, the tank was excavated (by the army) and certain parts including the turret were removed for preservation and use by the The Tank Museum (formerly The Bovington Tank Museum) in Dorset.
The surviving parts of the shell have been left above ground, as can be seen here.

The former Piedmont Service Station in Chase City, Mecklenburg Couunty, Virginia is a classic structure with the Gulf orange and cobalt blue colors. The pull through area (port cochere) is expansive and covers a large area, including an asymmetrical wall pattern which matches the interesting angles of the covered area. The station dates from about 1925. It has been well-preserved, down to the decorfative pressed tin ceiling of the covered area (see images 8 and 9). A mechanic's bay is located on the left part of the building. The Gulf sign is complete with bullet holes. This must have been a prime location, occupying a corner lot. It's not in operation today. Is is a contributing structure in the Chase City Warehouse and Commercial Historic District, which was added to the National Register of Historic Places 12/11/2020 with reference number 100005923.
The nomination form is found at Virginia Department of Historic Resources

Eastern Front. Prussians of Infanterie-Regiment von Wittich (3. Kurhessisches) Nr. 83 celebrate with some locals after a bit of small-bore rifle target practice.
The Regiment was part of the the 22nd Division, which was originally formed on 11th October 1866 and was headquartered in Kassel.
In World War I, the 22nd Infantry Division, fought initially on the Western Front, including in the Battle of Liège. It was soon sent to the Eastern Front, where it remained until October 1917. It fought in the First Battle of the Masurian Lakes and the Gorlice-Tarnów Offensive, and then participated in the Romanian Campaign.
After returning to the Western Front, it saw action in the 1918 German Spring Offensive, including the Second Battle of the Somme and the Second Battle of the Marne.
Allied intelligence noted that the division had good morale, but in 1918 rated it third class, albeit better on the defensive. Source - Wiki.
