As you can see I have been busy my friends,too cold this weekend to wander and I have been thinking hard about alternate foods not tampered with or sprayed with chemicals or genetically altered...I wanted to go back to the basics ..
Herbs including lavender were used.
It was very challenging as well as FRUSTRATING,trying to get the perfect rise with no gluten,not using wheat or other flours with gluten.
After ALL weekend out of four recipes two were winners...this one with rice ,oats,.Quite hearty .I've named it "herbed peasant bread.Back to work ,will be filtering in and out this week,still no computer,using phone downloads.Have a great week!!

I don't know how long it is since we bought this tapioca, the plastic bag with some cooking instructions is still in the box. It has no sell by date on it but it does have the weight marked in both metric and imperial units. This suggests it's a long time. I've never cooked any of it and don't think I bought it so it would be at least seventeen years old.
