Crazy fancy tapas in Barcelona. Each item was approx €1.50-2.00. We also had our first real Spanish sangria here and it was delicious.
As Martin and I did not go out on our wedding anniversary we caught up on our last Saturday of the holidays.
Once again we went to the tapas bar Abacco in Soest where we enjoyed the following:

I got Jill a Spanish cuisine cookbook for Easter -- we're going to Barcelona for our honeymoon in July. Jill has described the ideal cookbook gift as one with delicious recipes that someone else then cooks for you. I tried out three tapas recipes, including lamb and onion meatballs, cod and spinach fishcakes, and shrimp, cooked in olive oil and sherry vinegar, wrapped in proscuttio. All winners.
The ubiquitous tapa (although given the strange name "Golden Tapa" at TapaÇ24) - it is basically bread with some garlic and olive oil on it with a halved tomato rubbed and smash on top. It is simple and utterly delicious and this one was particularly good.
