After a day of visiting and touring the Casa Esperanza of Angels orphanage site in Tanjay City, we sat down to say our thanks and prayers for the delicious meal we shared last May 19, 2017.

We've been working in sugarcane fields such as this one so far. The sugarcane leaves are pretty sharp, so you have to be careful not to get cut. Beginning Monday, we'll be excavating another site, this time with the "traditional" pits that you always see archaeologists in. ;-)
Still don't have a very good or convenient connection here--probably won't for the next several weeks. Blah. I'll never take my 10 mbps wireless Internet connection at home for granted again!
