Boats galore & mast confusion :-)

False Creek during sunset in beautiful Vancouver

Burrard Bridge in the back ground

Mist rises through the cold morning air along tangle creek in Yellowstones lower basin

A tangle of rusty things with weeds growing through. Seen through the fence into an empty block that has been demolished.

Thanks to pareeerica for the texture:

“The mind I love must have wild places, a tangled orchard where dark damsons drop in the heavy grass, an overgrown little wood, the chance of a snake or two, a pool that nobody's fathomed the depth of, and paths threaded with flowers planted by the mind.”

― Katherine Mansfield

Well named waterfall right off the Icefields Parkway in Jasper National Park. Flow was low when here in October but really roars in the spring.

Thanks for your visit! Always appreciated.

Have a great weekend!

Little flowers similar to stars, I don't know the name.

A walk along the frozen Ottawa river, produced a lot of minimal type images for me, the deep snow and low temperatures were a challenge but enjoyable at the same time.

Created for the Vivid Imagination "Vivid Hands" Challenge: www.flickr.com/groups/vividimagination/discuss/7215764832...

All images and textures used are my own.

A little magic beside the stream....

He said we had enough lights but I didn't think so..

One from a previous Autumn in the local woodland. Probably my favourite set of trees.

From this shooting perspective, it looked like a complicated tangle of outriggers on the moored Fishing Vessels.

Gulf of Georgia Cannery

Built in 1894, the cannery echoes the days when it was the leading producer of canned salmon in British Columbia. Today it is a museum with interactive exhibits, film, and tours that demonstrate the Cannery's important role in the history of Canada's West Coast fishing industry.

Steveston is an ever so romantic fishing village that is situated in Richmond BC, on the Mighty Fraser River

Canada

Definitely one of British Columbia's best kept secrets.

If you enjoy quaint fishing villages, combined with light and vibrant colours, I am pleased to extend an invitation for you to browse through my.... 'I 💖 Steveston album'

It surely seems to be in a very difficult - even hopeless - situation, this tree in the woods round Beisbroek, Flanders. I suppose it must have been the victim of a storm.

We passed it on our walk from Beisbroek, a castle that is now a museum and observatory, to Tudor Castle (see my previous photos). The walk is signposted as 'The Heath Walk'.

The young tree next to it is giving hope for the future.

At the beautiful Friendly Beaches of Freycinet National Park, Tasmania.

Tangle Creek is along the Icefields Parkway in Banff National Park. It was an easy 5 minute scramble to get here from the parking area.

Silhouetted hogweed up on the heath, like a little forest..

Happy Umbellifer Wednesday! :)
