Lost in space and time
fighting the Jihad of my mind
not truly understanding my perception of life
as my soul fights the battle between wrong and right
so the demons take over and turn my days into night
causing me to blindly walk through the shadows, with my shades on and my eyes close
while my fears and failures are left to be exposed
my tears explode, as my stress begins to unload,
hoping to find my way, as the plots of life begins to unfold!
A poem for you, i got it from there.

The branches in the foreground are part of a metal sculpture in a children's park being built near my apartment. The branches in the background are of the traditional wooden tree variety.
'Bottle Brush Buckeye' is a more southern Buckeye species and usually does not set nuts in Indiana. This year has been an exception. We've collected over 20 nuts.
The tangled nuts in this photo are ready to drop. The husk has split and is shrinking. Soon, the nuts will fall.
The 'Bottle Brush Buckeye' (Aeschylus parviflora) is unusual in that the species forms dense clumps about 7 feet tall, not a tree. The clumps arise from sucker shoots that slowly expand the clump. Our clump is about 25 years old and is about 12 feet across.
The 'bottle brush' describes the blossoms that form on a long bending cane - that first appear upright. The california species is similar.

While adding to my notebook of deconstructed tangles from tangles.com; I drew BB;; an official ZT shown here at the top of the tile. I was stumped at what to show with it in a tile until I thought "steampunk!". This is a perfect tangle to add to a steampunk piece. So I added Planateen, and a combination of a couple of moloissus "geers", a bunch of crosshatching, and now I have a tile. Thought I would share this process.
reminds me of life in some ways... A lot of work, a little danger and if we're lucky, a little satisfaction...
Seeing these broken and twisted fences reminded me of the Eagles Desperado...
Happy Fence Friday and have a great weekend!!

Completed this lovely tile from Lisa Fedele a fellow CZT18 in USA. I am so in love with her rendition of Angeleafe! I will show this at class soon!

I took delivery of a second-hand 100mm macro lens today, so took it into the garden to see what it could do. I shot a series of images with this garden spider wrapping a bee and this was the final image. I consider myself very fortunate that I have seen this.
You can see the threads coming from it's abdomen.
