This is a regular market where Jeblia women come into town from the country in traditional dress and hats that have remained unchanged over the years. The produce is home grown and seasonal, and despite the development of large supermarkets, remains an important part of Tangier daily life."

Tangier Rappahannock Cruises whisked us from Buzzard Point Marina to Tangier Island late in the morning of May 14, 2016. We rented a golf cart to get around the island since there are no vehicles. I used a Canon GPS Receiver GP-E2 to track points along the route as best I could.
