I looked at a house today that was a few blocks from work. I may take it but it would mean I would have to move in two weeks. That is scary. I have so much to decide by Monday!
I need to shoot this camera way way more often. I love it. This is an older shot, but it still is one of my favorites.
I decided to put this up for anyone who would like a little calendar wallpaper. If you didn't know, you can do this with any of your shots on BigHugeLabs.com
Feel free to click "all sizes" above and download if you'd like it :)

Listen, if you can run a mile, run a race.
You know what? Run a marathon.
Outrun a movie star.
If you can ride a bike, ride that thing.
Ride a bull. Ride a – ride a tougher bull.
Let’s watch this…
What kind of bull is that?
If you can move your hips, if you can dance, move your legs, move your feet, move the ball.
Is that Pique? Score the goal.
Yeah, that is Pique.
You like to fight?
Well pick on someone your own size.
Pick on someone twice your size.
Pick on him.
That’s not good…
Oh, uh… lesson learned.
If you can play table tennis, serve like that, beat the champ, beat her mentor.
C’mon you got this…
Beat Serena.
If you can beat your friend one-on-one, beat him.
Steal it, take it.
Sorry, girls.
Now, take your talents to the streets.
Beat the street court legend.
That’s good.
Beat that guy.
Hold on.
We’ve been waiting for this…
That was nice.
Good luck with that.

the economic situation is really being felt here the past few weeks.
but we are initiating a little stimulus package of our own.
I signed up for Kim Klassen's Beyond Layers class last year but quickly fell behind, I do love to read her twice weekly emails that are always full of good info. and some freebies but I've not kept up with the tutorials. This past weeks thought provoking subject was about two types of photographers, make it and take it. Not all fit into just one category but most lean one way or the other. I found myself thinking about all of the photographers I know and putting them into one category or the other. I'm a take it photographer, I try to capture what is already around me because I fear that in time I won't remember the life that I have now. But, every once in a while, I like to make a photograph. Making photographs is much more time consuming.
