19-piece dinnerware set from 1971. It's not in *perfect* condition, but it is quite nice, with no missing pieces. A total score at the antiques mall.

Ceramic manufacture in New Zealand flourished following the Second World War when only essential goods were imported to New Zealand. Ceramic manufacturers such as Crown Lynn continued to produce tableware until 1989 when cheap imported goods were allowed back in the country. This photograph shows a woman working in a ceramics factory making a cup circa March 1948.
