I like this shot, spent a little time and think its quite creative but im not getting alot of feedback, what am i missing? Constructive feedback would be great!
This is my Tablet Desktop. The workspace shortcuts lead to .cmd files inspired by Lifehacker. I have one for each class, one for study, and one for leisure. Each opens different programs, according to class needs. The yellow shortcut leads to a .cmd file that closes the running programs (also inspired by Lifehacker), deletes any image files on the desktop (from taking screen clippings to insert into my notes), and sends any .doc or .pdf files to their proper folders. The idea is that when class ends, instead of wasting time performing all of these tasks by hand, I can simply finish them with one click. I haven't figured out yet how to close specific open folders this way without also exiting the Windows taskbar, though.

The method of chance has been integral to each of my collages; it has come to be nicknamed “pick magic.” Carefully cut pieces are picked and matched with backgrounds without looking at either. The collage then goes back into rotation until it is finished, it may take a day or several years.
The Dadaist’s, particularly Jean Arp, pioneered this idea of chance in collage. He believed chance introduced an imbalance and immediacy that restored a work’s mysterious vitality and its primeval magic power.
I have found through this method, correlations and patterns I wouldn’t have discovered on my own, making the experience of creation far more exciting. You begin developing a dialogue between yourself and your subconscious, rich with humour, surprises and insight.

This monumental tablet was erected Ao Dni 1708 at ye request of this Corporation (by Sir John Clopton of Clopton, knight, their recorder) in memory of Sir Hugh Clopton, knt (a younger branch of ye ancient family) whose pious works were so many & great they ought to be had in everlasting remembrance, especially by this town & parish, to which he was a particular benefactor; where he gave 100l to poor house keepers & 100 marks to 20 poor maidens of good name & fame to be paid at their marriages; He built ye stone bridge over Avon, with ye causey at ye west end, farther manifesting his piety to Go & love to this place of his nativity, as ye centurion n ye gospel did his to ye jewish nation & religion, by building them a synagogue; for at his sole charge this beautiful chapel of ye Holy Trinity was rebuilt Tem; H Vll & ye cross ile of ye parish church; he gave 50 L to ye repairing of bridges & high ways within 10 miles of this town. He also made a causey miles from Aylesbury towars London & 1 mile on this side; & gave an exhibition to 3 poor scholars in Oford & 3 in Cambridge, to each scholar 3L per annu for 5 years.He was likewise a great benefactor to ye city of London of which he was an alderman & Lord Mayor Ao 1492. He gave 100L to poor house holders & 100 marks to 20 poor maidens of that city, to be paid at their marriages; 20L to ye prisoners in ye 4 chief prisons, 28L to 5 hospitals, 10L to ye chamber of London; 10L to ye common box of ye mercers & 40s to ye parson of ye parish where he lived, for offerings & tithes forgotten, and besides legacies to a great number of religious houses; to divers of his relations & friends; to ye executors & overseers of his Will; to all his God children & servants, he ordered that if certain of his legatees (who were his near relations) should die before they came to lawful age, or were married, their legacies (amounting to more than 300L) together with a 3d part of ye residue of his goods & chattels, after debts, funeral expences & legacies paid, should be disposed of in repairing decay'd churches; in relieving poor householders in Warwickshire especially; in helping poor prisoners; in amending bridges & highways; in maintaining poor children at school in portions to poor, if honest, maidens; or other good works & alms deeds.
This charitable gent died a bachelor 15th September 1496 & was buried in St Margaret's Church Lothbury, London, having well observed St Paul's charge to them that are rich in this world. Created in photoshop with Wacom Intuos 4 tablet. For this drawing, I used the "paintbrush" nib, the black one with the white tip. I tried using the felt pen nib but it was too slow and not smooth enough for the wispy parts.
