My daughter hosted a Summer tea on the Summer Equinox. Noritake china from my wedding finally gets some use!
From my Polish-artistic mother, I inherited, I guess, the love of nicely set and decorated tables.
As crazy Poles are about decorated tables and Porcelain dishes, I think the Finish developed table decorating into an art.
The table in the picture is set for coffee and cake. It is a "modest" setting. I took a picture of it in a nice shop in a shopping mall – the only one actually in Salo, Finland
blue, navy, turquiose, peacock, light blue and sky...all the colors one would find in the ocean. Floating, waiting, relaxing.
