All of this rain makes me think of one place first….Table Mountain in Oroville. A good soaking is required to get the waterfalls up there going, and while prime time is in the spring when you have the strong greens and wildflowers, I am dying to get up there! This is a tighter comp of a post from LY. The image has been one of my most popular shots so far, and I have actually sold it a few times. My intentions for this trip were to shoot the Lupine with sunset behind, but I stumbled on this comp and everything lined up! Hope you enjoy, let me know what you think!

Few from our Christmas Day celebrations with the family, excuse our messy kitchen, always the hub of everything here. I always add table toys to keep everyone amused, we had so many races with the wind-ups, Charlie ate at least three on the day!! Hope you all had a wonderful day.

Santa Claus (also known as Saint Nicholas, Saint Nick, Father Christmas, Kris Kringle, or Santa) is a legendary figure originating in Western Christian culture who is said to bring gifts during the late evening and overnight hours on Christmas Eve. Basingstoke college students have been busy getting festive with a very special sleigh project. Six students from Basingstoke College of Technology (BCOT) enrolled in automotive, construction and art courses had worked together to design, build and decorate a new charity sleigh, ready for the Round Table tour of Basingstoke during December 2023. Santa and his elves were touring different areas in the town, from Kempshott to Old Basing, raising money for charities. The sleigh was officially handed over by the students to the Basingstoke Round Table in early December, ready for the start of the tour.
Basingstoke Round Table is a vibrant community organisation that has been fostering fellowship, service, and fun since its founding in 1935. Part of the wider Round Table movement, the group is dedicated to bringing together men ages 18-45 from across the Basingstoke area to share experiences, build friendships, and give back to the community through charitable events and activities.
Basingstoke Round Table, play an active role in supporting the local community through engaging events and meaningful fundraising activities. The two main annual initiatives are the Santa Sleigh Fundraiser and our participation in the Hatch Warren Community Centre Summer Fair, both of which aim to raise money for local charities and community projects.

あらすじ
大学を目指している北見ケイは、SNS上で、6歳年上のイベントコンパニオン、上村香織に出会う。
上京してきた香織の夢は、有名なアーティストの友達になるためだ。
そのためにはラジオ局のプロデューサー、大沢亮の存在が必要だった。
大沢は、ラジオの生放送中、香織へ語りかける。
「僕には妻子がある。しかし、僕は君に会いたいと思っている」
ケイの同級生で、彼を想っている三條里香は、香織の動向を探っていた。。。。。
本編
人が海へ向かう理由には、二つある。
ひとつは、波打ち際ではしゃぐ子供のように、今の瞬間の海の輝きを楽しむこと。
もうひとつは、その輝きを静かに見据えて、過ぎ去った日々を懐かしむ老人のように記憶の埃を払うこと。
二つは重なり合わないようではあるけれども、たったひとつの意味しか生まない。
再生だ。
明日っていう、曖昧な日を確実なものへと変えてゆくために、自分の存在に向き合う。
それが再生の意味だ。
十八歳だった僕には大切な人がいた。

１ それまでの写真展。自分は行きたいと思ったか？
２ じゃ、自分が足を運んででも行きたい展示とは何か？
３ 原宿デザインフェスタで個展を開くまでに、毎月ひとつの作品を展示することにチャレンジ。
４ 作品とは、素材とシルエット。ファッションと似ている。
５ 自分が好きなアーティストは誰か？ どんなものなのか？ そこをはっきりさせる。
６ コラージュの作成も写真の撮り方と全く同じ。インタビューに書いたように小説の書き方とも同じ。
７ 誰かに見せたい、見せるがために作品は作らない。写真と同じように自分の部屋に飾りたい作品を目指す。

After posting the topic last evening for today's Daily Challenge (At the Table) I went for my walk with Wiki. We stopped because a neighbor was putting up a 'Free' sign on a table and sofa outside her garage. Its the table I've been wishing for to replace my old squeaky, wobbly one. I sanded and oiled it last night. It is perfect for this space. Does anyone want to sit down for chai with me?
