SS Keewatin is a passenger liner that once sailed between Port Arthur / Fort William (now Thunder Bay) on Lake Superior and Port McNicoll on Georgian Bay (Lake Huron) in Ontario, Canada. She carried passengers between these ports for the Canadian Pacific Railway's Great Lakes Steamship Service. The Keewatin also carried packaged freight goods for the railway at these ports.

18' 0" long by 4' 6" wide tapering to 2' 8" at the ends.

A chief requirement of ths project was that the table break into three pieces easily. Each piece needed to be light enough to be handled by two people so that it could be cleared and the room reconfigured as a classroom. The tops were made of furniture grade cherry plywood with solid cherry edges. The base pedestals are hollow; quartersawn cherry veneer was applied over plywood and luan frames.
