Made from Galvanized Subway Grating, the steel base has been Zinc Chromate plated, to match the color of the Grating.
Mahogany was machined to the width of the space between the Grate Bars.
school has been hectic lately, so don't expect much lego stuff
litteraly found on a table in the middle of scraps...

The court church of "Our Lady" is a Catholic church in Neuburg an der Donau - Diocese of Augsburg in Bavaria.
History
At the site of the present church already existed before 1000 the palatinate chapel of St. Mary. During the reign of Henry IV, a Benedictine monastery was built. After conversion to a Protestant church under Ottheinrich the tower collapsed 1585. From 1599 to 1602 the church was rebuilt, but it crashed yet before being finished again.
The present church was built in 1607/08 according to the plans of the imperial court painter Joseph Heintz and by the court architect Sigm as Protestant Hofkirche (court church) at Karlsplatz. Model for the present church is the Jesuit Church of St. Michael in Munich. It is an important work of Mannerism, which is a style of transition from late Renaissance to Baroque. Already in 1613 it was converted from Duke Wolfgang Wilhelm into a Catholic Jesuit Church. The interior is decorated entirely in the opposite sense of the Reformation. The high altar, The Great Last Judgement, was completed in 1617 by Peter Paul Rubens and is the largest painting of the artist. It was in 1691 by Duke Johann Wilhelm conveyed in his Picture Gallery Düsseldorf, today it is in the Alte Pinakothek in Munich. The side altars had a similar fate: they stem from Peter Paul Rubens, were brought to Dusseldorf in 1703, also came to the Alte Pinakothek in Munich, but found their way back to Neuburg and today they can be found in the National Gallery in Neuburg Castle. The stucco 1616-1619 comes from the brothers Antonio and Gian Pietro Castelli Rovereto, for the baroque interior was Johann Jakob Breitenauer responsible.
The Court Church was consecrated on 21 Oktober 1618. She was the favorite church of the royal house and the College Church of the Jesuits. Through a connecting passage the church is connected to the castle.
West facade and tower were completed before 1624 by Johann Allerthal and Antonio Serro and continue to shape the Neuburger Old Town. A complete renovation followed 1969 until 1983. 2007/ 08, the roof was restored, 2009/10 facade and tower.

The organ of the Hofkirche is an instrument modeled after the baroque organ with 42 stops on three manuals and pedal. The work was completed in 1968 by the organ builder Offner in Kissing near Augsburg and has over 2500 pipes. The church musicians are Josef Götzenberger and Florian Krammel .

some drawings are less satisfying than others right... but i share anyway to show at least that i am trying to practice every day.
on my bedside table is a framed decorative lion i bought at the market, my green tin box where the blue fountain pen is kept , the orange/teal box is a bigger vache qui rit box decorated with art paper and the white box in front is my timer which is one of the best tools to keep around
Another meeting area in our building that we call The Black Table. It is not separated in a room though, so anyone walking by can hear the bad things you are saying about them. =)

Mom asked me to do this year’s decoration of the table, for our annual Christmas dinner. Think it turned out pretty good.
Table and chairs at the wonderful Victorian Tearoom in the nursery and garden centre at Gosforth Park.
The menu, spelled out, was also part lesson in food anthropology. Not only was each of the courses listed with their wine pairings, but the manufacturer and the date of issue.
The tables were also covered in craft paper, with a line of Chex Mix lining the center, and cups of crayons. Guests were invited to tap into their inner artist and use the crayons to draw on the table liner which the hosts were going to keep as a souvenir of the evening.

When you decide to do some indoor gardening and your dining table turns into a makeshift potting table.
The Table Cape Lighthouse started service in 1888.
It is built from bricks which came from Victoria as ballast.
Materials were brought to the site, from Wynyard 7 kilometres to the south, by bullock wagon.
The light was originally powered by an oil burner and had to be manually tendered.
Bertram Jackson (the younger), son of first keeper Robert Jackson remembers those days:
"The lamp had to be lit every day, as soon as the sun dipped into the sea, and it had to be kept alight all the time until the sun rose again.
There were always three of them as I remember it, and they each took a turn to watch the light.
They used a special oil called mineral colza, which used to be carted up in big drums by bullock wagon.
It was a very clear, white light, and better than kerosene because it caused less soot."
He went on to state that by day, the keepers used to pull heavy curtains round the light house windows, to protect the reflecting lenses from damage by the sun.
The light was converted to vapourised kerosene in around 1913. At this time the manning was reduced from three to two keepers.
Converted to automatic acetylene operation in 1920, the lightkeepers were withdrawn in 1923.
The cottages were demolished in 1926 due to rapid deterioration.
In 1979 major works were undertaken. The lantern room was rebuilt and mains electricity was connected with an electric lamp and standby battery bank being installed.
Less than three weeks after the opening of the light the headkeeper's son, Bertie died at the age of 14 months.
The cause is not known, but it is the cause of a sad entry in the lighthouse log book.
"Wind south. A strong breeze and misty weather. Employed in the lighthouse and cleaning up about station. At 5.10 p.m.
Bertie Jackson, son of the head lightkeeper, departed this life aged one year and two months."
The undertaker struggled up from Wynyard on horse back with the small casket and after consultation with the clergy recommended that Bertie be buried near the lighthouse were his family could tend to his grave.
He was placed in a grave marked by a fuchsia bush. The bush has long since disappeared, but locals who knew the place have recently constructed a memorial.
