This photo was taken at the Casa do Alentejo restaurant in Lisbon, Portugal. The walls were adorned with beautiful tiled panels (or azulejos) and they serve wonderful hearty dishes from the Alentejo region of Portugal. It is housed on the second floor of a beautiful Moorish style building that serves as a social and cultural center. Taken with a Panasonic Lumix G10

Small 20th-century French desk. Furniture finished for the center, richly decorated with bronze and chiselled brass, inlaid with geometric patterns in rosewood. Writing desk of small size ideal for a room or sitting room. Top covered in faux leather writing with some small wear signs. Furniture built in a single block, fitted with an external drawer, side doors with two small inner drawers and central door with internal recessed mirror (see photo). Desk in good condition, with some small signs.

Seen at the Newark airport: tablets for displaying menus and ordering food at every seat. Once you finished ordering the tablets also provided news, magazines, and games (none of which interested me enough to try).
Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday, even better than my birthday. I love the opportunity to share a meal with friends and family, and to reflect upon the many gifts I've received over my lifetime.

I pretty much empty my bad out onto the table whenever I'm on a train, at a table or anywhere I can dump my things!
This table was influenced by ancient Roman and Greek architectural styles. I might use this in a larger Roman Market scene.

Zoe moved half of her circular IKEA bed into our living room while she's subletting. For a while it was just sitting there together as a single unit, until Ben thought it would be funny to shift the pieces apart and have them like armrests while you sat between them on the floor. After Ben left, I didn't shift them back together, and that got me to thinking that what would be even cooler would be to have a table there! So dad and I threw one together this weekend. Just needs some final sanding and stain (I've got a darkish red oak stain).

GONE - These are ADORABLE little vintage tables, either heart-shaped or leaf-shaped as the fancy takes you. The teak pencil legs still boast their brass caps, and the original wood grain laminate on the top is in excellent condition. Grab these now, they'll go fast!
Mom spent the entire day cooking the entire dinner from scratch. We all helped a great deal, of course, but the credit goes to her regarding the Extreme Yumminess of the home-cooked meal.
I think our oven is still in shock from getting so much use.
This morning, after making a cup of coffee, I picked up my iPad to check on what today's challenge was. When done, I turned around and looked at the kitchen table and my first thought was "no can't do that, better tidy up first!" Then I thought let's go for it, it's what's lying on the table, Lewis has been running around after breakfast and left some props up there for me with nothing touched.
So, today you get the unabridged kitchen top!!
