I wonder which bright spark put out the chairs?
The chair on the left faces the entrance to the cafe, and the one on the right looks at a row of parked cars on the road. Maybe that's the view their clientele prefer ... but I know which direction I'd rather be looking :))
From the Sutherland Trail in Catalina State Park. Tucson lies beyond the distant ridge. A single massive saguaro on the near ridge at lower right.
A really good friend of mine brought me to this sim to explore and relax. I was first TPed into the middle of a vast field of sunflowers... I love sunflowers... well we soon ducked into one of the buildings and I saw this wonderful corner with a drafting table, open window and sunflowers peeking in.
What affected me so much about this image was the device attached to the table... way back in the day.... and I won't be saying how many... I was taught drafting using a device quite similar... I believe it was (and is) called a drafting machine. And the first "machine" I used was an old fashioned on as this in the picture. But it was soon replaced by a new fangled one of sparkly knobs, springs and aluminum.
It's funny how something we find in SL will TP our RL selves back to some forgotten memories and lost dreams. The man who I was taught by told me I would never be good at drafting. He told me to pursue another avenue of interest. I didn’t... I followed thru with my dream to be a graphic artist and to this day I still am... and I think I am a pretty fair one at that...
Oh and by the way.... I think the sim is Bacio but my friend will have to confirm it. Smiles.
I haven't posted a WIP photo in quite a long time, but I was surprised how far I got with this model using nothing but table scraps. On to bricklink to finish her! Can you name the aircraft?

Not as sharp as I would like but pretty happy with it. Depth of field is very shallow at this magnification so it is very hit and miss even at f22.
You can sit and look at the fire pit, or stand and look at West Harwood Lake. I'll let you guess which option I chose.
since the last attempt at a table turned into a storage bench, my 'pukis requested another table and there was just enough room in the caravan for a small one.
it just fits, and holds two tiny pewter mugs i ordered online.
Taken from somewhere to the north.... The location is approximate.

This weekend for sure. These tables keep getting moved around, probably by the different groups that use them. iPhone 8+ photo.

The theme of group "Smile on Saturday! :)", on November 18 2023, is to take a picture of an "OBJECT WITH LEGS", NO living creatures.
John already mentioned 'table' and 'chair', but also: cabinet, bed, garden box on legs, tripod, compass, scissors... anything you can think of but it can't be a living being.
AND FURTHERMORE: no dolls or stuffed toys, little figures or figurines, statues... so, no figures of human beings or animals....
