I saw this old brightly coloured tractor that was for sale and stopped to see if I could see a shot. They thought I wanted to buy it! They were nice enough to start it for me....even though I told them I didn't need a tractor.

i've been using textures for some time now, some that I made and some I got from the wonderful people here on flickr. I figured since they were so helpful for sharing their textures I would share some of mine. These are either textures that I have made completely from scratch or from mixing photos and ps techniques to get a look I like.

If you like it, feel free to download and try it out. These should all be high resolution (3000x2500 - ish).

The only thing I ask is that you show me some of your work so I can see what you are doing with these textures. I'm always interested in seeing everyones work. Thanks and enjoy.

this is mark, the elevator operator. every elevator operator i know is named mark. i posted his picture last year and related how i had thought he was about to accost me one day when, in fact, he was telling me i'd stepped off on the wrong floor. he's a gem and thank god he's still there after the corporate takeover i've mentioned too many times. this year he asked if they could spare him for a few minutes so he could pose for me. sure beats the light in the elevator. and i love how his silhoette looks like new hampshire's old man in the mountain rock formation, because the real one fell off a few years ago. holy crap...just remembered i'm supposed to send him a picture.

This house is very abandoned! There was an absolute eeriness surrounding it. It had a very long lane (about a half KM) leading back to it and it was on an incredibly remote gravel road. There was a back porch that had a door that lead into the house and another that was hanging from it's top hinge leading to a cellar. I stepped up on the first step of the porch to look down the stairs and I immediately got a chill down the back of my neck. I turned around and left!
