This is my live keyboard rig from late '95 to mid '97 or so. I used a K2000 (and later a K2500) as the controller.
This is the arduino pocket piano (from here: www.critterandguitari.com/home/store/arduino-piano.php ) with another multiplexer and 8 more sliders! It's great for making digital noise. (I'll update with a link to source code and a demo video with sound when it's uploaded.)
Yesterday's Thing was a breath controller- blow into it to control the volume of today's Thing: the Fish Organ, so named because the box used to contain smoked fish. And it sounds a little something like this.
The bellows was folded from a plastic report cover and sealed with hot glue. Blowing into it makes it expand and slide the volume slider.

Excellent Australian synth/minimal/wave. First 14 tracks recorded live at Sydney Trade Union Club 1/1/82. I believe the last 4 tracks are studio tracks.
this place is great - dude called *andy* (sorry for calling you dave, andy) collects vintage synths and accesories and keeps them in an attic above his music store. he was kind enough to shows us a couple!
ben (max tundra) is checking out the korg poly 61, which he later bought!
