this place is great - dude called *andy* (sorry for calling you dave, andy) collects vintage synths and accesories and keeps them in an attic above his music store. he was kind enough to shows us a couple!
here he's showing off a japanese yamaha sy20.
Here's a shot of the classic Moog filter as implemented in the Sonic Six. You can see the paint on top of the TS193 transistors, likely hand-matched.
