I'm impressed by this old camera. Then again, on a fixed surface at f16, just about any camera looks pretty sharp.
No! They are not dancing, or going to jail with ropes on their waist. They are fishing the huge barrage on Tista - two counterparts are dragging the net on the otherside while these youths are putting counter weight.
Taking time out for a little bottom feeding, these three Mallards were in sync, at least when it came to eating. We spotted them from one of the trails we were on, and hoped they would still be there by the time we were through and made it to the other side of the lake. Fortunately they were still there, and loads of fun to watch.

Another sure sign spring is around the corner! 50+ degree temps today after a blinding snowstorm yesterday and the pelicans have arrived in the Quad-Cities.
