Tre Leveque, left, 19, Tylor Wortham, 16, Dan Roberts, 23, and Gerry Hyde right, 16, plunge into the Columbia River Monday July 24 at the Two Rivers Park boat launch in Finley, Wash. The group found the launch to be a great place to cool down during Monday's triple-digit temperatures.

I submitted an abstract to a national conference in Washington DC that was accepted. I've been in DC since last Friday and today, Monday, I presented my 12 year work.
I used to have my room in an unfinished basement and loved looking for pictures and symbols in the grain swirls. In this pic I see the number 311 which holds so much meaning for me. As I've said for other pics, it correlates to the Bible verse of Ecclesiastes 3:11--"He has made everything beautiful in its time." Would also like to mention it dawned on me this year, in 2011, that the 3 and two 1's can be put together just so to make the heart symbol (became a more powerful and meaningful symbol for me in 2011) and I think that is so cool!! Had neve thought of it before until I thought about how people depict hearts on certain social media sites, like Twitter. They are depicted as <3 ---which could totally be 311 coming together to form a heart. :-)

Mosaic Moon Synchronicity with no pink on 3ply Merino. This is a replacement for the other version that I originally received. This will be for a Ridinghood sweater for Tabitha.
Shot while waiting for the kids to get into the car so we could finish our running around. Yes, a big cup of tea(China green tips)
While at the lake, I took this shot at the spur of the moment when these swans tried to flock together in a seemingly sychronized u-shape movement... I guess its nature's wonder and order.
