The Lofoten archipelago shows a different face in winter, perhaps even more bewitching than in summer. That was one of the reasons, the other being the hope of seeing some beautiful northern lights. This beautiful ceiling I found in Igreja Santa Engrácia, a church that was converted into the National Pantheon, in which important Portuguese personalities are buried (eg numerous presidents, and the famous footballer Eusebio).
