Pretty little insects - the adult as seen here, visits flowers and feeds on nectar. Both adults and larvae eat aphids and psyllids, also occasionally small caterpillars and other small insects. Larvae will eat one another.

The symmetry was the main reason why I took this photo. It shows one of several entrances to the main courtyard at the palace of Ludwigsburg. The huge building looked warm and inviting in the morning light.

Same year as the "Vendôme" image where I took my tripod around this magnificent city shooting pano's. Waiting for the perfect balance between day and night and searching for symmetry.

Where else more perfect then at cour Napoleon...

The Marine Drive Road at Puri stretches from Puri Hotel at one end to Light House at other end.
