Images of impossible symmetric architecture. Inspired by modern cities, I’ve created these impossible symmetric images of buildings hanging in the sky. Soporific & exciting architecture alike, become intricate structures of concrete and glass. Sometimes they turn out looking like a spaceship, sometimes the image is completely abstract. I leave it too your own imagination to find the spaceship amongst them.

Soon after taking off from Bostic, G681 passes through Thermal Siding with empty grain hoppers from Case Farms in Shelby.
This house entrance from 1935 (renovated 1953?) is a nice example of the strict symmetrie and simplicity in the architectural design of these years. The symmetrical design has been fulfilled even in the slightest details as the flower pots left and right from the door.

From Wikipedia : "Jægerspris Castle (Danish: Jægerspris Slot), in Jægerspris on the Hornsherred peninsula west of Copenhagen, is a Danish manor house. It has belonged to the Danish monarchs for most of its history which dates back to the 13th century. In the 1850s it became a retreat for King Frederik VII and his morganatic wife Countess Danner, who sought refuge there to escape the controversy their marriage had caused among the establishment in Copenhagen. After the king's death, Countess Danner turned it into an asylum for women.
Today the castle serves as a historic house museum and is also noted for its park."

I'm not a fan of religion. Its perhaps the leading cause of death and destruction and the biggest divider that keeps us from uniting as one. However, for me Buddhism is more of a philosophy than a religion. The expensive buildings and gold statues? I wonder what Siddhārtha Gautama would say about that? For me this photo isn't about its symmetrical beauty or its display of architectural talent or even how much it all cost, for me its about the ideology and philosophy that lies behind those temple doors.
