The day I shot this one, it was soooooo hot and humid at midday.
I was literally 'melting'. To take 11 exposures in that kind of weather was a torture, I tell you! Anybody symphatize?

Ottawa is an awesome place to visit. It's a beautiful town with many tourist attractions.
That's where I used to live when I first got to Canada a 'few' years ago. The only thing that made me move from there was the harsh(er) Winters and too much snow. How many snowmen could I have built?!?
=)
Lots of memories and wonderful friends still live in there. A perfect excuse to escape once in a while...
Hope your weekend is the most FANTASTIC one!

The other night, I took the Q2M out for a walk. I came across a lit walkway. This particular light fixture split its lighting between the sidewalk and the grass creating a symmetrical pattern of light & shadow.
Climbing up on a bench...not high enough. Had to climb on top of a wall to enable a full capture of the interesting pattern.... even with a 28mm lens.
For me personally, I feel it was worth the effort for something different. Kinda like me 'thinking outside of the box'.

Oregon's Mount Hood with a double lenticular cap at sunset. The first time I saw this mountain I immediately thought of Mount Fuji. From this angle it has an almost perfectly symmetrical cone, like Japan's iconic mountain.
Shot for Macro mondays line symmetry theme.
I wanted to spice up the symmetry a little with some colors to give some moody environment,

At the end of Loch Lochy are Laggan lochs and as we were driving past I noticed how calm the water was, it seemed rude not to stop and take a few photos of it.
Last rays of the sun on barker dam. I really liked the reflections here, but I would have preferred using a darker filter to smooth out the water more. The light was changing fast, and a few moments later the light here was gone. Amazing how fleeting these moments can be...
A monochrome conversion of one of the many skyscrapers in Canary Wharf, London on a very dull and wet morning.
