The symmetry of the image created by the reflection of the sky on the surface of the Salar de Uyuni, a hole in the clouds that appears just at the right moment and finally the sun piercing the horizon have created the illusion of a giant eye opening on the altiplano.

Walking along a river bank I was able to photograph these three beautiful ducks not far from me just before they landed on the river.

The night is definitively defeated and one discovers, in daylight, the immensity of the Salar de Uyuni, which is roughly 100 times the size of the Bonneville Salt Flats in the United States.

Le bâtiment historique du Hertford British Hospital se situe au 48, rue de Villiers à Levallois-Perret.

En 1860, la Société civile des terrains de Villiers-Neuilly créée par le marquis d’Hertford et le duc d’Albufera achète les terrains.

Pendant la guerre de 1870, Sir Richard Wallace, petit-fils et héritier du marquis et l’une des figures les plus originales de la vie parisienne de la fin du xixe siècle, finance des ambulances et distribue argent et vivres pour aider ses compatriotes britanniques. Il s'était en effet rendu compte de l'absence de structure médicale pour soigner les sujets britanniques. Après la guerre, il décide de construire un hôpital pour les citoyens britanniques vivant à Paris. Le bâtiment de l'hôpital Hertford est construit pour le compte de Richard Wallace et inauguré en avril 1879.

L'hôpital fonctionne grâce à des collectes de fond, avec le patronage de la famille royale britannique

Il est principalement en brique et pierre de taille, le toit d'ardoise est percé de nombreuses lucarnes. De style néo-gothique, dessiné par Ernest Sanson, il est récompensé par la grande médaille d'argent de la Société centrale des architectes.

Inscrit aux monuments historiques depuis 1987, le bâtiment est loué à des sociètés commeriales depuis 2010
