I sat on the bleachers and waited. Not in high heels.
My week has been a blur of shuttling the kids to their summer camps. Tomorrow I'm going to scream my head off at the McCartney concert!
I've been psyching myself up by listening to all my Beatles/McCartney CD's. My young daughter loves this song and sings one of the names as "Rotten Loser"--do you know what the correct name is?
We found these geese and thier brood, giving thier sweet little goslings swimming lessons, mom hadn't gotten them in formation quite yet, but she was working on it

Walking along the coast at Petraeus, we came across this swimming centre right at the beach. Of course, for swimming lessons the pools are much more appropriate than the sea, but the scene did come across a little ridiculous. The beautiful sunset colours and the details in the eclectic foreground; Kodak Ektar did a great job of reproducing both.

so with the heavier assignments i've had lately, i decided to assign myself something a little lighter to keep me sane

Cynthia Willson, a YMCA swimming instructor, demonstrates for preschoolers (left to right) Carson, 3, Hannah, 4, Kayla, 5, and Benjamin, 6, how to float on their backs Thursday evening. She told them if they ever get tired while swimming, they can breathe and rest while floating on their backs. This was the third class of an eight-week winter session at the YMCA.
Parents are no longer allowed to sit in the pool with their children's swimming lessons. Now they stand outside peeking through the windows.
I'm sorry, but we have another day of grandkid pics. I have posted this one before in horizontal format, but cropping into a vertical allowed me to just focus of the four expressions involved with this monumental moment. B&W below although I prefer the colour. Also one of Danica below, taken on the same day.
