A choker I found at the local car boot sale/ market. It only cost me £2. It is genuine Swarovski as only one half of the beads is coated with the Aurora borealis finish. Also the cut of the crystal is perfect - no off centre cuts or air bubbles. Found 09/09/09

Collar rosa con tupis y perlas de swarovski
I don't normally work with blue, but at a bead fair I was persuaded to buy some Swarovski Cobalt AB2X. They have more of a purple tone which I like. Made with 3mm and 4mm in a cross weave technique (Japanese design).

What sparkles and reflects more than a Swarovski crystal! My aunt used to have a beautiful china cabinet full of Swarovski pieces. My favorite was the three love birds on a tree branch. She is gone now and so are the crystals. No idea who ended up with them, but once in a while, I will stop in a Swarovski shop and reflect on my aunt and her beautiful collection of crystals.
PS - The shopkeeper here gave me permission to take this photograph after I explained a little bit about our scavenger hunt. She thought it sounded like fun! She's right!
