And, protected under my umbrella, I was happy to go around the neighborhood and take some rain shots after a long time without any new ones...

Both images taken with a 3Gs iPhone. First one with Hipstamatic app (John S lens + BlacKeys Supergrain film), and the second one with regular camera and edited on Swankolab app and PS Mobile app.
...we said goodbye to two of our best friends, Damon and David.
But it's only a temporary goodbye, as we will surely be seeing each other again numerous times in the years to come.
Thanks again, guys, for your incredible generosity and for showing us such a good time in your American home. We love you both dearly and can't wait until our next adventure together!

David and Damon have quickly become two of our favorite people in the world -- and after they visited us two months ago in NYC, we decided to return the favor and take a trip to Ann Arbor, Michigan to see them in their temporary home (they're from the U.K.).
It's only been one full day of our planned five-day trip, and we've already had an amazing time going to Silver Lake for a swim, and seeing their favorite spots in town. Plus, we finally got to meet Harry the dog (shown here), and Martha the cat (who's so sweet, I want to catnap her!). We really don't want to ever leave them, and wish we could take them all back with us to NYC!! For now, we just want to thank them for the lovely hospitality they've shown, and for being such truly wonderful guys. We love you both!!
