This is my interpretation of the ultimate MidCentury Modern Workspace. 50 plus year old designs that still looks timeless yet modern and contemporary. Dieter Rams would say "Less is More." Don Draper would say, "Make it simple, but make it significant." Yes, it is expensive but it will outlive and outlast any computers I have or will have for the next 40 years. This is a "luxury desk set-up."
George Nelson Swag Leg Desk design by Charles Pollock for Nelson Associates in 1958.
Eames Soft Pad Management Aluminum Group Chair designed in 1969 by the legendary design masters, Charles and Ray Eames. Both manufactured by Herman Miller. Artemide Tolomeo Lamp. Designed by Michele De Lucchi and Giancarlo Fassina for Artemide. 1987. The design classics. All featured and on displays at various Museums of Modern Art like NY MoMA. George Nelson Bench for storage. Everything pictured are authentic, licensed pieces.
BTW, people have been wondering. Yes, you can fit a 27" iMac on a George Nelson Swag Desk. As long as it is under 25 lbs.
I'm pretty much complete except I might swap out the Tolomeo Lamp for an AJ (Arne Jacobsen) Desk Lamp.
Update: Thanks. This was featured on lifehacker.com

The Family Room looks like a CINEMATIC Explosion of swag (which is a good thing!) The creativity was awesome this year.
More pix to come tomorrow...
This original design uses the main motif in an offset pattern - I found it easier to do each motif in turn as shown. Lots of shading opportunities to make individual motifs stand up against the others.

Attended the inaugural Brick Assembly: Bricks in the Six this past weekend in Toronto.
Had a blast seeing awesome builds, hanging with outstanding humans and discovering the city together. Received some stellar swag (and a trophy 😁), picked up some great finds and bucket list items.
Highly recommend taking part in the future!
Thanks for the good times BITS!

Generally, New Yorkers are easy to photograph on the street... this one even stopped to pose. As I took the shot, steam from a passing food cart created a misty haze.
Another great double from Isabell, a beautiful model and an awesome photographer too!
She is really working hard for her body!
For this shot I had also the opportunity to test the big brother of my Quadra, the Ranger RX AS Speed with beauty-dish.

The T-Mobile mask has adjustable straps, quilted on the inside with a pocket for what I guess is for an added filter.
Photo taken in the rooftop garden of the Salesforce transit center. Maybe 10 people there in the 2 block long garden. Air quality not too bad this afternoon.
