There were some white birds that were very not happy about us surfacing here. They kept dive bombing us. I stayed up, trying to get a picture of one. You can imagine how they felt about that.

Mixed media: cardboard, cotton wool, papers, tracing paper, threads, masking tape, foil, plastic bag, newspaper and emulsion paint.
I used different materials to create different textures, through a mixed media approach. I feel that all the samples turned out quite well because of their tactile qualities, which adds an element of texture to them.

We spent New Years in McCall, Idaho this was taken along the Payette River. The snow storms to date are rather dismal.

A Menhir is a single upright rough monolith of prehistoric origin, standing either alone or with others. They are found chiefly in Cornwall and Brittany.
The Menhir in the photograph was placed at the south-west corner of the Cathedral in 1778, and is known locally as the Pierre St. Julien.
Natural weathering of the sandstone (not granite!) has given the Menhir's surface an unusual appearance similar to carved drapery.
Le Mans Cathedral
Le Mans Cathedral is a Catholic church situated in Le Mans, France. The cathedral is dedicated to Saint Julian of Le Mans, the city's first bishop, who established Christianity in the area around the beginning of the 4th. century.
The cathedral's construction dates from the 6th. through the 15th. century, culminating in 1430. It features many French Gothic elements.
The cathedral, which combines a Romanesque nave and a High Gothic choir, is notable for its rich collection of stained glass and the spectacular bifurcating flying buttresses at its eastern end.

Photographic techniques capture electromagnetic wavelengths beyond human vision, revealing features invisible to the naked eye. These signals are processed into interpretable forms using methods like color mapping.
Pink lacks a specific electromagnetic wavelength, while grey poses a limitation due to its representation of only intensity—a blend of light and dark without spectral specificity. Imaging techniques reliant on spectral variation produce identical results for greyscale images unless non-visible data is present. Deviations from this uniformity may indicate errors, misinterpretations, or unknown phenomena.
Contention persists over analytical debates, including dismissible claims like Van Allen belt dangers and contested evidence of lunar mirrors. The precision of laser reflections targeting a moving 3x3-foot marker on the Moon highlights technical skill but often fails to resolve skepticism. For instance, a 0.1° shift moves a laser spot 670 km across the Moon's surface.
Forensic analysis (2022, 2023) of Apollo 11–17 photographs assessed authenticity claims. Images of humans in space, Earth, and the Moon's distant views were validated, but Moon landing visuals showed variations, suggesting diverse techniques may have replicated certain elements.
