I am a Texan...so what do you think I would say about it...let me correct that...a Texan with an Airforce Sister and an Army Brother in Law and friends with siblings in the military fighting and defending our country.

This is a Mural painted on the side of a storage building on 16th Street and Glendale Ave. in Phoenix.

For some reason, tonite there were a number of ribbon magnets on the various cars - in unusual locations.

This mural is viewable from the south side of the canal near Basha’s market near the intersection of the canal and Glendale avenue in Phoenix Arizona.

It replaced an earlier mural that was regularly being painted with graffiti (spray can vandalism). I have an earlier picture in the my Mural Set of what was left of it from 7 years ago. This new mural is probably 6 years old and has never been vandalized. Maybe the spray can types are afraid of the marines or something.

I wonder how long this sign has been tipped up like this - and how long it will remain like that. I am kind of curious about it, and almost want to go up to the TAC just to check it out.

I found this at my doctor's office and after thinking about it, I realized

this is a form of Social Organization. It is a common sight at doctor

offices, grocery stores, churchs, etc. Especially around holidays, food

drives or other forms of support are common. While America is considered an

individualistic society, there are lots of groups who organize to help

others in different forms of charity, putting other people's comfort and

livelihood in mind. It is rather touching that it is a common thing in our

society.
