Bella decided to supervise the back garden while waiting for her lunch. Not our back garden, of course, she was being nosey & watching my neighbour over the fence!
Charlie helped supervise my work in the flower garden yesterday as I pulled all the rocks from the border and reset them.
Sometimes being a Superviser is really tough work.

The L type of Soviet steam locomotives 2200 hp of 2-10-0 class with maximum speed 85 km/h (53 mph), tractive effort 271.5 kN (61,040 lbf) were developed during WW2 on the Kolomna Locomotive works under supervision of famous designer L.C. Lebedyanski (P type were renamed to L in the honor of the constructor). They were produced from 1945 to 1955 yy in Russia by the Kolomna Locomotive Works (##0001-1000 and 1501-2385) and Bryansk Machine-Building Plant (##1001-1389), also in Soviet Ukraine on the Voroshilovgrad Locomotive works (##4001-5307) with total production 4199 ones.
LV locomotive of the 2-10-2 class was the last more powered variant of L class developed to 1949 y which boiler was increased and frame hardened - general frame elongation and increased weight needed addition of the trailing wheel. The fuel efficiency was the highest but the time of steam engines was going to end so only 522 was built from 1952 to 1956.
E- series of steam engine were designed by Russian engineer Łopuszyński, Wacław Marian in 1909. Engines were built from 1912 to 1957 in imperial and Soviet Russia as well as Sweden, Germany, Hungary, Poland, Romania in big series. Eu (Эу) series were the first E-model built in Soviet Russia. About 2500 ones were produced in 1926—1930. Before it in 1920 in the first years after the Socialist Revolution and Civil war the midlle-size series according to simplified project of 1917 y were ordered in Sweden and Germany (500 of the Esh and 700 of the Er-series consequently). After WW2 big series of the last project Er (model of 1944 y) were produced in Hungary, Romania and Poland. Total production of the E-type exceeds 10853 ones that is absolute record for the locomotives.

We carved our pumpkins late the other night in preparation for our yearly Harvest Fest - for our backyard visitors.
I carved mine first while my sister was taking a power nap. Frodo supervised, like he usually does, making sure I didn't make too big a mess.
We do this every year, so I sometimes wonder if he remembers us doing this? Or if over time he's learned to just go with the flow because not much seems to faze him any more.
The spoonbills were great for squabbles and not only between the adults but between their teenagers. I do know if this was a parent or just another spoonbill but he was certainly putting the juvies in their place. It is amazing to see such similar behavior in the animal world as in the human race.
So nice to look at the light and shadow play on the famous lake and monutains.
A show that is never the same...

We played Yahtzee yesterday with the family. I was trying to find articles about the 6-dice version of this game, that we usually play - maybe it has a totally different name, I don't know-, but could find only the 5-dice version.
