...check out that we pack and stack all boxes properly from top of the box stack

It doesn't always work.

The gardener is me of course and apparently it was Cleo's turn to keep an eye on me when I worked in the garden on Sunday. Sometimes I wonder if they don't trust me ....

Bella decided to supervise the back garden while waiting for her lunch. Not our back garden, of course, she was being nosey & watching my neighbour over the fence!

Charlie helped supervise my work in the flower garden yesterday as I pulled all the rocks from the border and reset them.

Sometimes being a Superviser is really tough work.

And a fella might need to rest a wee bit!

Today's reveal. An intro lol

El mejor destino que hay es el de supervisor de nubes, acostado en una hamaca mirando al cielo.

Commander's Palace, nestled in the middle of the tree-lined Garden District, has been a New Orleans landmark since 1893. Known for the award-winning quality of its food and its convivial atmosphere, the history of this famous restaurant offers a glimpse into New Orleans' storied past and has been the go-to destination for Haute Creole cuisine and whimsical Louisiana charm. The winner of six James Beard Foundation Awards, Commander's Palace has evolved into a culinary legend.

When Ella, Dottie, Dick and John Brennan took over personal supervision of the restaurant in 1974, they began to give the splendid old landmark a new look both inside and out including painting the outside the iconic "Commander's Blue."

Now under the watchful eye of co-proprietors Ti Adelaide Martin and Lally Brennan, the Brennan family's dedication to perfection has never wavered. A steady parade of renowned chefs like Emeril Lagasse, Paul Prudhomme, Jamie Shannon, and now Tory McPhail have made Commander's Palace the world-class restaurant what it is today and its leading-edge Haute Creole cuisine reflects the best of the city.

Built entirely by convict labour under the supervision of staff Trade Instructors, the house took nearly 3 years to build. The cost? Approximately $ 9,000.00 (in 1873 dollars). Designed in the Italianate Vernacular style by Acting Penitentiary Architect, Henry H. Horsey, it was constructed using a combination of local Kingston limestone quarried on the penitentiary reserve, with Ohio Sandstone accents. In the late 19th century, the residence became known as "Cedarhedge" in reference to the extensive manicured cedar hedges that once lined the driveway.

Charlie is perfectly content to spend time in the hammock while I do chores after some quiet time reading and lounging.

After all, we need a supervisor!

We carved our pumpkins late the other night in preparation for our yearly Harvest Fest - for our backyard visitors.

I carved mine first while my sister was taking a power nap. Frodo supervised, like he usually does, making sure I didn't make too big a mess.

We do this every year, so I sometimes wonder if he remembers us doing this? Or if over time he's learned to just go with the flow because not much seems to faze him any more.

The spoonbills were great for squabbles and not only between the adults but between their teenagers. I do know if this was a parent or just another spoonbill but he was certainly putting the juvies in their place. It is amazing to see such similar behavior in the animal world as in the human race.

Osprey Couple - It isn't only humanity that is stuck with a lengthy "honey-do" list during the Covid quarantine. This boy was hard at work getting everything just right (under his mate's strict supervision, of course). I know I'm not much of a "wildlife photographer," but it was fun seeking these birds out and watching them get ready for an expanding family. Now I'll just need to find the web address for that camera to what sort of addition this couple has coming...

We played Yahtzee yesterday with the family. I was trying to find articles about the 6-dice version of this game, that we usually play - maybe it has a totally different name, I don't know-, but could find only the 5-dice version. Sába, my 7 yrs old cane corso liked it anyway, and was watching the whole game. Sometimes she pretends really well to understand things we humans do or say...
