"A 10 metres statue was build in a suburb called "Mas del Plata" in Tarragona (Catalonia, Spain) at the end of the seventies, to be the entrance for the suburb, but the suburb was never completed and the statue remains there."

The best Shin Getter Robo figure which i'm looking for over 12 years....XD
This is the very very awesome Shin Getter-1 figure I never seen but not 100% perfect to me....this is because the cutey eye's silk-print, it is not a big deal actually but it makes Getter not looking cool enough XD. Besides, I hate the weird neck joint design way so much, it is too compIicated to the head to act some simple pose with lots of joints, I'm pretty sure this is not the best shot of bandai....
Overall the figure's looking is based on OVA version but there are many re-design things from original setting, such as too much panel lines, the shape of the huge shoulder and the arms, too many rounded shape design looking are totally gone..... anyway, they are not the big problem just is not my cup of tea only. XD
Dont worry about the pose ability of the figure coz this one is the best in the entire SRC line, the only thing I care about is the extra weapons/ parts set is coming up or not because the huge AXE in the pic is taken from AOSHIMA version and I want the huge devil wings way so much... XD
To sum up, this is the second item of new starting of SRC line (the first one is Grendizer), just hope that bandai dont mess up this line like SOC and Robot Spirit again and looking for the Mazinkaiser and Genesic Gaogaigar !!
Rather appropriately (especially if you love Doommates as much as I do), Doomsday arrived yesterday on Friday the 13th. My second and final Master of Disaster, she was quite a different experience from Pinhead. For reviews of the pieces I glanced over here, check out Beardly Designs review of Mr. Zero and my review of Pinhead.
All parts pictured here have been already covered in my Pinhead review or Logan's Mr. Zero review, but they come in new colors here. The limb parts each come in the blue color, and there's plenty of the azure armor parts. I set out a few Lego parts for you to compare. The color is very close to light azure, not teal as I had thought all this time. But that's nice because Lego has so few light azure parts and these look great here.
Another note: The chestpiece fits so much better here than on Pinhead. The narrower, sloping torso piece hugs tightly into it. I actually had trouble getting it off again!
The (My) very late photo of No.1 Super Robot in the world. :D
and poor Mecha-G and Moguera. (I've no photo with Mogurea yet) XD
Grendizer managed to get out of the house two weeks ago and head for the beach. But he brought the wrong Spazer with him! =P
Just a shot I did for fun, nothing fancy about it.

This figure sucks!!!
a quick snap to NECA's Pacific Rim series figure with the giant huge tending backward joints design.
want to act this pose without modification? the answer is no way.
Fewture Mazinger Z Hong Kong Version.
I still looking for the Jet Scrander parts in past few years....
A sub-genre of superhero fiction are partnerships between super-friends, and a human (often a boy). This genre is particularly popular in Japan.
These super-friends are controlled by an otherwise ordinary mortal man or boy. Mazinger-Z was a giant robot radio controlled by a boy. Pokemon (pocket monster) Pikachu is kept in the poket of his friend, ready to fight at his bidding. Doraemon, another robot, lives in the closet of a boy called Nobita. Gundam is a robotic suit worn by Amuro Rei. Ultraman is an extraterestial giant that possesses and is possessed by a kind of policeman called Hayata. Others include Tetsujin-28, the grim reaper in "Death Note", the mother-possessed (!) suits in Evangelion, and duality observed in the Masked Riders such as Kamen Rider Denou.
Western superheroes are far more likely to be a unity that only appears dual due to the fact that for some of the time, the superhero poses as a normal, but "secret" "alter ego." Western superheroes are dual only epistemologically. Japanese superheroes are ontologically dual.
Japanese super-friends are often but not always giants, and often but not always robots. They are also often unable to speak. Pikachu can only say its name, Ultraman can only pant. Many Japanese superheros and characters (such as hello kitty) do not have mouths at all, or have masks which cover their mouths.
Lacking in language, these super friends often carry out the will of their human partner. The super-friends are *all body* - taken to the extreme in Gundam and Evangelion - that provide the power, or technology to carry out the human will.
Western super-friends on the other other hand, as I will argue in a seperate post, are often all mind and no body. They provide their human friend with information. Western super friends above all speak to their human partner. The human carries out the will of the imaginary super-being.

I was surprised to find out that the "Rahkshi thigh" piece used in Doomsday actually is a completely different mold than that used in Mr. Zero and Pinhead. This one, rather than using two pins to form a stable connection to the ball socket, only uses one pin through an x hole to hold it steady, and instead fills the top with two more x holes used to attach the hip armor. The part near the knee protrudes awkwardly, almost making her look digitigrade. Here you can also see the blue used in this set is somewhere between Lego's blue and dark blue, but a little closer to blue.
The mask was a fun little piece (one of the main reasons I got the set), but fair warning: once you get the headpiece in, it's nigh impossible to get out again. Not that I had any other methods of attaching that mask. It's connected via a round pin hole, but held in place by friction and the long, narrow cheeks.
All the weapons I've seen in these sets are made from a rubbery light silver plastic, presumably for the same reasons Lego does. These are nicely detailed and definitely unique parts.
Some of you may have noticed Beardly Designs bought and reviewed one of the illusive Final Fighter/Super Robot knockoff sets, now called Glopo Dream Builders: Masters of Disaster. Of course, I had to get my hands on these. Here\'s my first, the Keetongu knockoff named "Pinhead." I\'m not joking.
Assuming you\'ve already read Logan\'s review, these pieces shouldn\'t be new to you, but they do come in new colors exclusive to this set. A red ball-axle, yellow "Vorox" armor, and yellow feet. Thanks to Logan\'s warning about the weak sockets, my feet are still in one piece.
Also included is a comparison to Lego\'s yellow and keetorange colors. These are somewhat in between the two, but closer to yellow than keetorange.
Hero of Steel 01 - Optimus Prime
The official non-tranformable Prime which made in Hong Kong...... but fun and drawbacks are way too much at the same time....
He is complete! A sword-swinging mecha for BZPower's BBC Contest 68. Name means rhinoceros beetle in German, in the style of Super Robot Wars' egregious German naming.
Not too much else to say, really, except thanks to all who commented on the WIP images, particularly DViddy for his great comments on the color scheme.
Old stuff again.
I love this Jehuty series so much, just like Metal Gear Ray in Battroid mode.......very nice mecha design with NIGHTMARE articulation.
By the way, I want to kill someone when I setting this pose, I'm serious and 100% stay awake with clear mind.

Pinhead also comes with some new limb pieces, the black 6L one somewhat reminiscent of Toa Metru legs, and a shorter version of the "Rahkshi thigh" Logan noted in his review. This one comes to a total of 5L instead of the 7L in the other build, and promises to be useful.
When I was first building this set, I was upset about the utter lack of posability. They connected the "knee" end of the black joints to the hips, and sideways as well! But then I realized something amazing: The sockets are built wide enough that these pieces still have a good range of motion, leading to much better posability than I assumed.
I repainted the whole face over 5 times and almost ruined my getter, it is too hard to me and don't do the repaint without serious deep thinking before like me....XD

One of the reasons I got this set was for the two "Rahkshi" head/spines on the thighs. I haven\'t seen the original sets to include these anywhere, and they are great pieces, so it was a nice find. Unfortunately, as Logan reported, the axle connection on this piece is rotated 45 degrees, making it more of an x than a + connection.
Planet X PX-10 JUPITER, ho, he is called "JUPITER"...
I repainted mask ,the silver line on the chest and add the Autobots logos on the shoulders.
I really love this guy. :)

Pinhead is a far more "Technic"-heavy set than the others I\'ve seen, as she is supposed to be a titan set. Included are 7L thin liftarms in black and yellow, 5L thin liftarms in black and yellow, a yellow "cam" piece, a black 1/2 bushing, and black and yellow connectors. The two 3L thin liftarms are rather interesting. The black one has the same connections you would expect from Lego, only rotated 45 degrees (X O X). The yellow one, however, only has three pin holes (O O O), yet it is a thin liftarm.
The worst part about building this set was those two connectors down at the bottom. Their molds were off, and so the axle slot had a thick wall on one end I had to cut down with a knife to even get an axle through. Even still, they are slightly angled and thin to the risk of breaking.
