Panda and Panda Cubs (2015) by Takashi Murakami. Purchased from Murakami's Kaikai Kiki Gallery in Tokyo.
The piece is an offset litho on foil and measures 19.75" x 19.75" (50cm x 50cm). Like many of Murakami's prints, it is a signed, limited edition of 300.

The comet has increased in brightness and was easily seen in a six inch newtonian, despite the light pollution in my area.
The galaxy is near the bottom centre is NGC 4119. It is about 80 million light years distant based on recession speed, though another estimate put it at about 55m ly. There are numerous other faint galaxies in the image, some out to as far as almost half a billion light years.
Images taken with StellaLyra f4 newtonian, with TS SuperFlat GPU corrector, and Nikon Z7ii, stack of 30 frames, 20 seconds each at ISO 5000, no flats or darks. Stacked and processed in Affinity Photo 2.

Buffalo Bill had a nice stream going through his property.
On the way back from Colorado, we made a short stop in North Platte, Nebraska, to check out Buffalo Bill's house and ranch. It's a really cool little place to stop, so I highly recommend it! Not to mention that North Platte is a cool town and has a lot of great old stuff to look at, especially a lot of cool old neon Motel signs! Hope I can visit again someday, even though Nebraska is superflat and makes hillbillies like me cry.

Japanese Takashi Murakami was born in Tokyo 1st February 1962 and is a prolific and world wide known contemporary artist. Murakami tries to blur the boundaries between high and low art and uses both painting and digital techniques in his art. Murakami uses popular themes from mass media and pop culture, then turns them into large sculptures, "Superflat" paintings, or commercial goods such as figurines.
