It's freezing even at ground level here, but the altocumulus at about 12,000 feet is composed of supercooled water droplets. Except in the 'hole' (centre) where they have suddenly turned into ice crystals and fallen out of the cloud.

Okay, okay, I wasn't really calling, but I thought it might be supercool to make a picture of me in a phonebooth :-)

This was a great day of hunting with my friend Kristin. These water lily seed pods and ornate Mexican mirror were among my finds, along with a few pieces of English ironstone and a supercool industrial hardware cabinet.

You could never bunch up like this on a normal day. Today should be what is normal. The waterfront should be open to this kind of living everyday, instead of swamped with traffic, and I mean swamped.
