Clontarf Garage based EV 12 basking in the evening sunshine at Howth Summit terminus, home to route 31 & peak time route 31B, which operated via Strand Road.
This is the terminus for routes 31 & 31B, but the start for those about to enjoy a cliff walk around Howth & the spectacular views around the rugged coastlibe of Howth peninsula.
Its better than listening to your partner, Dublin's Q102 radio station.

Another work of short poetry or prose to complement the image captured one late afternoon in Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park while taking in a sunset at Sunset View. This is a view looking to the northwest upstream as the Gunnison River flow by. Having finished a hike earlier that afternoon, I spent quite a bit of time getting the right composition with the view looking up the canyon and using an ephemeris app to note the location of the sun by azimuth. The rest of the time, I spent metering the setting such that I would minimize blowing any highlights while still being able to pull the more shadowed areas later on in post production. Other than removing some artifacts caused by the sun flare across the lens with PhotoShop, I worked mainly with control points in DxO PhotoLab 3 and then made some adjustments to bring out the contrast, saturation and brightness I wanted for the final image.

Narikala Fort is een eeuwenoud fort dat uitkijkt over Tbilisi, de hoofdstad van Georgië, en is een van de meest iconische bezienswaardigheden van de stad. Het fort dateert uit de 4e eeuw, toen het oorspronkelijk werd gebouwd als een Perzische citadel. The Dead Sea at sunset as revealed, in all its glory, from the top of the cliff in Kibbutz Ein Gedi: Israel. Landscape. Dead Sea. Desert. Sun. Sunset. Clouds. Sky. Southern Israel.
A setting looking to the west while taking in views across a grassy meadow and then to the more distant ridges and peaks present in this part of the Blue Ridge Mountains area. This is in Shenandoah National Park at Spitler Knoll Overlook. In composing this image, I decided to keep the sun setting off in the distance more or less in the image center. I did though want to include some foreground interest with grassy meadow and the nearby forest of trees leading up to the valley and the Masanutten Mountain. The rest was working the exposure to not blow any highlights while still being able to pull the more shattered areas later on and post-production and also working to minimize the artifacts from sunlight across the lens.
