Paseo Fernando Quiñones is located at one end of La Caleta beach and is formed by a long and narrow promenade over the sea. This narrow strip of land is actually called an isthmus because it has water on both sides. This bridge connects the mainland with the nearby Cádiz Lighthouse and the Castle of San Sebastián that is found at the end of it. This walkway has wonderful vistas along with stunning views of the sunset!

The Hunter becomes the Hunted...
(The Good)
Beautiful Structure with this cell. Luv' the teeth it was producing as was gaining strength. This is what I live for... Its one of the main reasons why I chase.
(The Bad)
Though at this time I didn't know that the stormcell to my northwest (which we cannot see here this is pointed southwest) was starting to merge with this cell. It would eventually overtake me, even moving due east...believe me when I say it was nasty... it was
Tornadic, strong, building, maturing... I sure was at the right place at the right time. (This doesn't usually happen eh) One cannot get these incredible close up shots... just that...up close and personal without being there!!!
@ This time... some of my best storm photography for 2018!

Maleme is a small village and military airport 16 km to the west of Chania, in north western Crete, Greece. It is located in Platanias municipality, in Chania regional unit.
Crete is an island with an exquisite 1,000 kilometer-long coastline dotted with numerous coves, bays and peninsulas, which afford a multitude of soft, sandy beaches along the beautifully blue Mediterranean Sea.
Prague Castle is a castle complex in Prague, Czech Republic, dating from the 9th century. It is the official office of the President of the Czech Republic. The castle was a seat of power for kings of Bohemia, Holy Roman emperors, and presidents of Czechoslovakia.

Blowing off the dust from the winter...
It is my favorite time of the year... Right as the cold leaves and the warm begins. Thunderstorm season will soon be here and I always like to get a few snaps in before the first storms.
Sunset was surreal... Breathtaking as normal. Plus the migration of the birds is a big thing in South Central Nebraska. Sandhill Cranes, Geese and Ducks and about million other species migrating their natural habitat.

I rarely take pictures of the sunset, but when mother nature presents herself with a rare opportunity, I don't ever miss a beat.
This mid September sunset had some phenomenal color. I wasn't going to miss this opportunity!

I went out looking to photograph sunset the other evening and there were zero clouds in the sky, so, I thought I'd play around with a long lens and compression.
Unterschächen, Switzerland. This image was taken while on a road trip over the mountain passes. I took it handheld as I didn’t bring my tripod unfortunately, therefore had to take several images at different exposures while trying hard not to move much lol. Quite pleased with how this turned out in the end.

Arrived right on time... timed it out perfectly. Now directly in its path... A slow mover so this was going to be a photographic treat.. with a (ef 0) Nader to boot.
I thought this storm was totally outflow dominate and this proves to me now that Tornadoes CAN be produced on an outflow boundary. I was there for the shelf cloud as this cell was maturing... I got what I came for and then some!

It had been a dry May in south central Nebraska. Moisture if any did come but it was late evening and it was usually along the Nebraska Kansas border this year. Sometimes out of my range depending on the hours they developed.
@ this moment...It was another 60+ miles south and I still had time to catch up to this developing supercell.
The view to my west was captivating. I had to stop and get this. New Polarized lens, which I have NEVER used before was locked and loaded. New tripod to boot. A sunset with the perfect ambit light... Developing storm just to my southwest...
Might as well take advantage of the skyscape while she was talking to me...

Now this is UN official. I have never went back to this date and searched for the NWS official report on this storm.
In my book of storm chasing rules, one cannot call it a tornado unless you see a debris field. I have this confirmed with these images and the video you see once all the images are posted.
