Finally after days of overcast skies, the sun made a belatedly appearance just in time to sink in the horizon
The clouds soaked the sun palette very well, with the Saint Paul sky being Illuminated from below the horizon and turned amber, to ruddy as the light faded.
A bather had the whole lake for herself to swim while in the distance, a paddle boarder skimmed the gold tinged waters of Lake Josephine during Sunday’s sunset.
After a diluvial downpour one hour before sunset, sunlight erupted through the dense, turbulent clouds to bring a coda to this second day of August, with an splendiferous array of hues, over the Twin Cities skies.
