This image was taken on my last trip to London with Karin after having a lovely meal at the Sky Garden. The sun was beginning to go down and so we had beautiful light on the buildings on the other side of the river. I had to balance my camera on the rail as I did not bring my tripod, didn't lose it in the Thames so all was well. Hope you like this one.

The month of May can present variegated weather, from sunsets awash in the richest colors to days of indifference, with soupy skies and the day fading unobtrusively into the night via gloom. Today was such a case. A wan sun struggled through thick veils of Stratus clouds to become a lumen suspended on an exotic exoplanet on the outer fringes of the Large Magellanic Cloud!
