The Hill Miri (Nyishis) are a people of Arunachal Pradesh, India. They are mainly settled in and around Daporijo, Upper Subansiri District and Raga and Dollungmukh areas of Lower Subansiri District. The Hill Miri (Nyishi) have a tiny population, estimated at 9,000, because of which they were officially consolidated with their more populous and closest ethnic neighbors, the Nyishi in 1998. The waterpark we took the kids to this week. I was asked to take my regular group of boys around the park. We had a good time, it wasn't too hot, but just enough to need the dip in the water.
One of the boys in my group for the day. Same group of youngsters I have when we go on field trips. They are quite the cast of characters.
In case you didn't find their tent, the sunscreen guys were wandering around with big containers, encouraging people to protect their screen. I fully approve!
