Three minutes after the previous image was taken, the entire sky lit up in every direction.... Even though I was standing out in the cold, I was in photo heaven. I live to see magical moments like this....
I am back from almost two weeks in Maui.
Maui is one of my favorite places in the world that I have seen so far, second only to home.
We did a lot of the touristy things we have done before on trips to Maui.
A second time for me to see sunrise on Haleakalā.
Set the alarm for 4:30 AM. Lots of traffic. We couldn't go to the very top because of the crowds, but we got to a wonderful viewpoint.
The result was magic. A fog rolled in from the right just as the sun was rising.
A wonderful abstract.
On the horizon, to the right, you can see the top of the Island of Hawaii.

Thank you, your views, favs and comments are greatly appreciated!
Having never been to Wareham Quay before, I was pleased to get both mist and a nice sunrise on my first visit there. Rippled reflections courtesy of some ducks.

I believe that all photos lie....becouse we the artist choose what we put in and what we leave out....
At 3AM, the small town of Cemoro Lawang in Indonesia becomes a flurry of activity as huge convoys of jeeps begin making their way across the Sea of Sand. Once on the other side, they ascend a steep road to a viewpoint above Mt Bromo. We couldn't believe how many jeeps there were! But instead of taking the jeep tour, we started early and hiked up a trail behind town. We were able to find a good vantage point away from all the crowds. Even though it was so busy, it was totally worth seeing the sunrise and it's definitely bucket-list worthy!!

I leave you today with this photograph of a intense sunrise in the Albufera of Valencia Natural Park, the last weekend, looking for a minimalistic and simplicity view playing with the colors and lines.
On the technical side, say that I only used a filter Formatt Hitech ND graduated soft 3 steps filter combined with a 4 steps ND..
I hope you like it.
Have a nice Tuesday. :)
