this was taken a few years ago - I am adding it to the group to get us started on the "light" challenge for March.
my sunray stencil, over plastic lace placemat and edged with Heidi Swapp polka dot stencil and cut number paper.
I will add more to this but wanted to put it up.

the pre sunset light was amazing yesterday at el capitan state beach.
our 3 man tent was pushed to its limits with kim and i and the 2 girls.
time for the 2000 square foot costco "family tent" :)
Returning from work one day.. just looked up and saw this miracle.. trying to capture the same.. :-)
Setting sun casting rays through the clouds as we walked around Clare Upper Common. Saw lots of birds - including yellowhammer, reed bunting, redpoll plus the usual blackbirds, jackdaws and tits. Only fly in the ointment was the flowering yellow rape - not a nice smell and makes me sneeze
