Keep love in your heart. A life without it is like a sunless garden when the flowers are dead. The consciousness of loving and being loved brings a warmth and richness to life that nothing else can bring.

happy flare friday!
i'm learning to stay with whatever arises; learning to witness my emotional weather. when fear or shame or sadness arises, i stay. i want to judge or distract, yet i eventually stay. and you know what happens when i stay with the difficult? i also stay with the joyful. i stay with the love and the happiness.
and i savor little things, like my backyard wildflowers blooming well into the autumn chill.
26/30 Okay, this title is a little deceptive because I took this photo at sunset on a Sunday evening. But I'm posting this at the crack of dawn on a Friday. Fence Friday to be exact. So, although I didn't expect to be up so early, I'm grateful I'll have the chance to watch the sunrise this morning and have the chance to greet the dawn of a new day in person. Hope you have a fabulous Friday everyone! And for all you shoppers out there, good luck finding that special deal, I mean steal!
Thank the lord spring has finally sprung! For Spring Break I'm going to Panama and I'll be taking loads of pictures :)

i recently heard this rumi quote: "your task is not to seek for love, but merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it."
it's strange to think of us armoring against love, joy, and contentment. but we do. and we can also undo.
today i choose to find a wall and gently knock it down.

p.s.
these creepsters are not going to get me down. i'm not going to stop taking pictures because they decide to live their live by hurting others.

I just can't figure out how to title things appropriately. Or how to spell appropriately.
I would like this picture so much more if there was somebody on the bridge.
But I was trespassing to get this, and wanted to be really quick. Their house is right there! Quick run away before they see you!
I'm so illegal.
Great clouds and sun streaks this afternoon, when the all mighty Signore Dino Ferrari needed his afternoon walk.
It got some layers in Capture One, but this snap turned out quiet well...
Dedicated to a friend of mine who is in the hospital. We're all rooting for you. Please, please get better.

A sunset on the borderline between Austria and Slovenia. The circle in the picture is no photoshop effect, it's caused by light dispersion in the lens system. Most of the time it's pretty annoying but sometimes it coud give a photo a unique touch ;)
