Missing the lights and night walks in my city..

Sundown as always calm serene

It encaptures raw beauty

The sea cool and still

Light to Guide until

The day begins with danger lost

The coast is clear and with no cost.

German "Hagebutte" while sundown. That was the bush where I found the final geocache. I hate thorns!!!

Abbey Fields - Kenilworth

Cape Cod - Almost night; the last gasp of light over the Atlantic Ocean....

Weather forecast conditions didn't look great for this night - I picked up dinner from 7-Eleven and ventured out to see what I can find.

The Great Salt Lake - GPS is not the exact spot of the shot.

Another Bude Sunset - with Tree

Another nearby barn, spotted just as the sun was going down. A viewer from our neck of the woods said that this farm used to belong to her uncle who had raised sheep there many years ago! Quite a thrill to have someone recognize a memory from a photo that I posted, and to learn a little of its background....

Thank you my friends for your faves and kind comments.

Have a beautiful weekend..

The last colors of the day

.. easy going .. enjoy the moment my friends :)

Worthing Pier, West Sussex

Worthing Pier is a public pleasure pier in Worthing, West Sussex, England. Designed by Sir Robert Rawlinson, it was opened on 12 April 1862 and remains open to the public.

Driving to the North, trying to explore the aboriginal tribes. It was cloudy day near sundown, the photo was taken on a bridge at Two Mile Narrows, at Parry Sound, Ontario. The bridge is one lane for car to pass by alternately in two directions, under the bridge is narrow section of the South Channel (around 40 feet wide) with sufficient depth for vessels larger than the average power cruiser or sailboat to safely pass through.

the reward when you drag yourself out of the house into the cold

A sundown at the Zabriskie Point in Death Valley National Park. It was a very cold December day after the sun set. It was also a very warm looking sunset. This was shot a couple of months after the record setting flood that swept Death Valley. Some of the roads were still closed. National Park Services from CA, NV, and AZ contributed to restoring most of the main roads.

The low area in Zabriskie Pont is now covered with light colored sandstone sediment from the heavy rains. Earlier that year, the low area was dark colored.

Later after blue hour, I took a hike down into the low grounds for some panoramas. It was cold, and the ground was hard. The winds had picked up and the temperature had dropped about 20 degrees once the sun went down. Nevertheless, a peaceful hike.

Just one from many other beautiful sunsets from my window.

Sundown view when we had winter. Warm weather melted much of this. Happy day to vets and all. Thanks for your visits.
