I went thrift shopping with my friend, Susan, yesterday and we scored big time. Both of us found some shoes that we cannot live without. I love my new $3 leather wedges. They're 100% leather (even the sole) and made in Brazil (one of my favorite places on the planet).
I finally made a new top I'm not ashamed to say I made :)
Working on making the pattern my own and this is a prototype.

I really, really like the thrifted scarf I have on here, but I don't seem to have any of the same purples and blues in my wardrobe. Meh. I don't care.
I took the waist of the skirt in this morning (not without a few swears). I really like the new, higher waistline. I feels so much better, even though it looks very much the same.

My new girl, Tempest. She's a custom Sunday Best. Her looks are stunning, I am so glad that she's apart of my family!

A company of nine – probably a family on a Sunday outing – posing with a Stoewer. The following words in German are handwritten on reverse: "Für Luise in Heidelberg" (for Luise in Heidelberg). I bought this print online from a Dutch vendor, so it could be either from the Netherlands or from Germany.

So I went out last Sunday and took the 135L for some street shooting.
It was kind of scary to be shooting downtown by myself, with all the bums hanging around, and not knowing how people will react when you point your camera at them, but i really wanted to try out this new glass and practice more street.
I must've spent about an hour clicking away and getting just mediocre shots, and almost late for mass at the Cathedral when this old lady appeared like the sun peeking through the dark clouds.
Happy FRIDAY, my Flickr Friends! =)
I had a REALLY successful thrift run on Saturday. I love my new boy button-up and white heels!

Celebrating the six year anniversary of BPC got exciting!
This is definitely not the best photo I've taken but it (well really the photos from the series before I moved my car) was maybe my most dangerous.
As I was getting ready to shoot this I noticed the guy parked in front of me, exiting his vehicle and putting on a bullet-proof vest. Then he got his gun out. He was FBI. Then some Chico police pulled up and drew their guns as they walked toward a motel room. Luckily the popo made their arrest and no one was shot by the assault rifle carried by the cops. None of the gawkers including myself were harmed either.
I had been parked on the other side of the fire hydrant.
