Miss Sunday Best was my Christmas present and my very first BL. She is absolutely adorable - I love everything about her!

And her dress and little pet(and the green boots at the back) were a gift from Duchess Tara - thanks Tara, they suit her so well! Except she has size licca feet and the boots don't fit her so good!! Luckily I have at least 15 other girls all champing at the bit to have a go!!

The Methodist Friends Party for Children.

Just the right number to fill one small coach.

Meeting up in the playground, with small tags on the coats of the Surname and initial, so the families that are going to look after you will select the right child.

Most of the families will have children of a similar age, so you should have an enjoyable day.

Three of the family groups I went to from the Children's Home over the years, just sort of got it wrong, I was put with a football loving kid whilst my room mate was put the a science experiment. If only we could have swapped. Another year I was put with a family with a girl that only had dolls as her interest. At least it was a day away from the Home.

Perhaps this group did better

costume season has arrived...

I will not exaggerate if I'll say she probably has the UGLIEST stock outfit EVER!!!

:)

Funny little hat.

Model shoot in Dayton, Ohio. Christina and I found ourselves in this old industrial-looking building, with lots of neat artifacts such as this doorway near natural lighting.

y'all have no idea how hard it is to get 3 of your plastic friends to all look right at the camera at the same time... well, maybe some of you do... but, if you don't, believe me, it's a bitch.

The first worshiper for Sunday service was outside the church waiting for the church to open.

This is the kind of photo I like, her dress, the door, the walls all composed and coordinated serendipitously :-)

Mom: This was the shed. Cookie had me terrorized because there were steps around the back...they might've been just pieces of slate. But Cookie told me they were the stairway to hell. And if I went down the stairway, I'd meet the devil. And I was terrified. Don't forget, Cookie was five years older.

Me: Where did the flowers come from?

Mom: I think they were weeds. Dandelions. We didn't have a lot of flowers. We only had four o'clocks. I was amazed that they came up every year. We had a really barren backyard. Nanny and Aunt Millie weren't gardeners.

Woo-hoo! Look, it's not all clumpy and sticky, and it doesn't act like pieces of hay that have been glued!

Aww, she's a sweetheart. Even if she did get me in trouble by demanding out of her box a whole month early (ah, Carter doesn't really mind!)

Late in the afternoon on Easter Sunday, this young girl and her family were taking a stroll among the flowers in Fort Tryon Park. The girls spotted a grey cat running through the heather and were very excited. I was taking pictures a few feet from this girl and "grabbed"two shots of her, capturing her expression as she followed the cat's movements. She was so involved in watching the cat that she never saw my camera. A second later, she and her family moved on...

Decked out in her Easter finery, she was truly the loveliest flower in the garden!

It was an instant of serendipity...

Susan and Sam in their Sunday Best circa August 1982.

Girls from middle or upper class families in Sunday best for a church occasion they all have there best white dresses on and white kid leather gloves although some might have silk or cotton gloves on they all have long hair some have curls the girl on the left has had her hair pinned up they all have white hats or bonnets on could be easter

I'm guessing this was Easter in April 1960. Mom is on the left and I'm thinking Patti is on the right.

Me: So what are you doing?

Mom: Well, it must be something. Grandpa's in a suit and tie, and I'm in my beanie. I hated those beanies—Nanny made them.

We first met whilst taking photos and since then have become good friends.

Originally, he had a Sony camera which was OK. Now though, he has a new Nikon with a selection of lenses and a decent flashgun.

His photos are really good, excellent in fact. .
