While wandering down the beach looking for Comps I had to duck under these logs to get to the next area of the beach. As I got under them I thought hey maybe this would make and interesting shot??? So I took it and I think it turned out ok!! Kris...

Two days ago when I saw this beatuiful damselfly I just had to step into the river even though I was only wearing short boots..
Lots of Bee-flies in The Dales yesterday, but this one was the most obliging as it had settled down for a spot of serious sunbathing!
On a stump in a shallow lake, apparently soaking up as much sun as is available in early November.

A young Thrush (Turdus philomelos) has taken to sunbathing in the bright afternoon sun right outside my lounge windows. This is fine by me and a great way to finish 2020.
